Is There a Doctor in the House?

Daddy and mommy think that ice cream is the best medicine, so even though I'm healthy, they continued my ice cream tour of New York at Emack and Bolio's (a Boston original) with "Aunt" Lauren.


A number of doctors made house calls this weekend. Fortunately none of their services were needed.

"Aunt" Dr. Susan (dermatologist, though my skin is perfect) and "Uncle" Dr. Shervin (pediatric gastroenterologist, who is glad everything is coming out ok) got all dressed up to meet me.


"Aunt" Dr. Beth and "Uncle" Dr. Henry (both pediatricians) were joined by "Aunt" Carina and Raffaella, my new friend.

Week Three, Even More to See

My Great-Grandma Lil ("Nana") came all the way from Florida to meet me. I'm her first great-grandchild and she is very excited. Of course, taking care of just me is easy compared to her twins who were two handfuls.


Uncle Andy visited me from North Carolina. We went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and they saw the Egyptian Wing and a great exhibit of Studio Crafts. Unfortunately I really only saw the inside of my eyelids.


The good news was that the admission buttons were in periwinkle, one of my and mommy's favorite colors.


Grandma cooked a delicious dinner, or so I hear (I was asleep). In return, I tried to keep my eyes open for fifteen minutes during my visit with her.

Take My Mommy To Work Day

Today I took my mommy to the College Board to see all of her colleagues. I slept through most of the visit, but heard a lot of oohs and ahhs in between my naps.






What an exhausting visit. All those people telling me how cute I am...

Missing You, Marisa!

On Saturday I finally got to meet my cousin Marisa. Unfortunately, I neglected to put her photo up because I'm still getting the hang of this blogging thing. I hope she knows it wasn't personal.

Playdate and Playlist

Mommy and I had a fun playdate in the park with Aunt Julie and Daisy. Unfortunately the weather got chilly and we had to head home early.


I visited grandma and grandpa's house for the first time and had dinner with Oscar who was very excited to hold me.


I love listening to Hush, the lullabye CD that daddy's friend Mindy Sax created and gave me as a gift. I recommend it to anyone who needs help catching some zzz's...it can be purchased online.

So Much to Due

Today was supposed to be my due date. I have really enjoyed the eleven bonus days I have received and hope I can continue to exceed everyone's expectations.

Unfortunately daddy had to go back to work today. I was still sleeping when he left, but he gave me lots of kisses and called throughout the day to check in on mommy and me. He also wore a pink shirt in my honor.


Suzie Fox payed me a visit. She's known my grandma for a very long time and remembers my mommy when she was my size.


"Uncle" Josh came all the way from Canada to meet me. I was worth the trip, eh?

Fun-Filled Weekend

Regina and Phil Stone have known my Great-Grandma Lil for more than seven decades and I was so excited to finally meet them!


Two weeks ago my mommy and daddy hosted Cousins Hara and Brian for Passover brunch, but this visit was a lot more fun (mostly because I was there).


My first trip to Central Park on a beautiful sunny day was to meet Chana, Gary, and Abigail at the playground. It was too hot for the swings or the slide, but then again, I'm too little for them.


I was a little fussy when Thi came to visit, but she did a wonderful job putting up with my shenanigans.


We celebrated Aunt Julie's birthday a day late with a delicious dinner and cake. Much to Uncle Spencer's dismay, I slept through the festivities. I need my beauty rest!

Week Two, But Still So Much New

We made our first visit to my Boston grandparents' new apartment. I am so excited to have them only four blocks away!


"Aunt" Sally finally made it back to New York long enough to meet me.

So Many Friends and Family to Meet, So Little Time

Aunt Barbra, Uncle Andy, and cousin Atticus flew up all the way from North Carolina to meet me - what a treat! We had lunch out with my NYC grandparents - my first restaurant excursion, but definitely NOT my last. Unfortunately my other cousins (Charlotte, Tibor, and Dagmar) had school so they could not come, but I send lots of kisses and hugs to them!


I took my first outing (to the supermarket) in the Bjorn. Don't worry, daddy put on his coat around both of us before we left.


We took a big trip to Queens (my first outer borough experience) to visit Great-Grandma Erna. She was very excited to meet me.


"Aunt" Karen came straight from work to meet me. I could tell she had a lot of experience with babies.


"Aunt" Lynne and "Uncle" Bill were such fun. I can't wait to have playdates with their daughter Rachel.

Outing and Ice Cream and Cousins, Oh My!

Before our big day, bathtime! Snuggling with daddy afterwards is definitely the highlight.


I had my first doctor's visit. I gained 3 ounces and Dr. Yaker confirmed that I am a "very squirmy" little girl (I think that's a medical term)!


I took my first outing ever - an ice cream adventure to "Free Cone Day" at Ben & Jerry's. I can't believe my parents, especially daddy, waited this long to introduce me to something so delicious. Mmm...breast milk flavor in a sugar cone!!


Cousins!!!! I finally got to meet my New York cousins - Oscar and Daisy are SO big and grown up. I have a feeling I'm going to learn a lot from them - and their mommy (Aunt Julie).


Aunt Julie is a fabulous photographer (www.juliebrimberg.com) and took a set of beautiful pictures of me during her visit. Here are a few that mommy and daddy really love.



I got to meet "Aunt" Julissa and "Aunt" Diana - they are fun!


"Aunt" Lauren came back to see me, but this time she brought "Uncle" Mo - who is really good with babies.


Gaston and Idit also came to visit me, but I was asleep. Hopefully next time they'll see me awake.


There seems to be some mistake because I have daddy wrapped around my finger, not the other way around...
