Fun, Sun, Exhaus-tion!

I know Jamaica took up a lot of blog posts, but I still can't contain how much I enjoyed the trip. I especially loved our time at the beach...


...lounging in the sand.


Another highlight was the daily series of theatrical productions written, directed, and produced by Charlotte. Here's a scene from "Floating Up," look for the soundtrack on iTunes soon, no doubt.


Aunt Julie was hired to choreograph a special all-girls production.


Man, all this fun sure is exhausting!

Un-Presidented

While the rest of the country was celebrating President's Day, mommy, daddy and I celebrated the anniversary of their engagement. So nice of the government to close its offices in their honor.

Anything But Ho-Humm

On our last full day, we visited Rockland's Bird Sanctuary where we fed hummingbirds. At first, a lot of patience was required...it seemed like the whole thing was for the birds.


Sitting very still with our sugar water and birdseed...


Mema's lap became a popular perch.


And once the birds discovered mommy, everything went hummingly.

Pooling Our Resources

Baby and I loved spending time at the pool.


And after properly applying her sunscreen, Baby also enjoyed the chaise lounger.


The uncles also spent time in the water...


...including Uncle Matt, whom I had always known as "daddy" until we got to Jamaica.


Grandpa and I swam together too...


...while Charlotte hit the pool involuntarily...


...and voluntarily.

Down the Creek Without a Paddle

The whole family went rafting on the Great River. It wasn't exactly white water rafting, but the green water was good enough.


Mommy, daddy, and I got our own raft, captained by Noel.


Noel took care of us from head to toe. For our heads, an Ethiopian apple.


For their twenty toes, mommy and daddy got a special limestone pedicure.


Noel used his toes to scamper up a tall palm tree and get me some fresh coconut water.

Hip Hip Hooray, Bobo!

The lowest point on our trip (pardon the pun) was when Bobo fell and got "a bad boo-boo" (a.k.a. a broken hip). She had to head back to the mainland, so we went to the beach to send her a feel better soon message...


We love her, miss her, and hope she's back on her feet (and her hip) very soon.

Jamaican Mema Crazy

Four generations traveled to Jamaica to celebrate my Mema's birthday.

Fortunately for Mema, five of us cousins were able to stay awake late enough to help her blow out her candles...all twenty-nine of them!

Babies, Babies, Everywhere!

Tonight mommy and I finally met baby Linnea...


Hard to believe that less than a week ago she was in "Aunt" Celena's tummy. She is very cute and it was fun to visit, but I'm glad she lives with "Aunt" Celena and "Uncle" Jamie because she requires quite a bit of attention.


Speaking of babies who need TLC, mine has a special something that mommy made to ensure her modesty on our upcoming vacation...

Hats On to You, Birthday BoPa!

This weekend we celebrated BoPa's birthday including a wonderful visit by Aunt Abi and Melissa all the way from San Francisco! Even though the real celebration was adults-only (it's not what you think, it just took place after my bedtime), I loved seeing my family.
